1. Before first use and after each subsequent use, hand wash pan thoroughly.
2. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it may shorten the life of the nonstick coating.
3. Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective cooking properties and prevent damage to the pan and stove. Glass-top stoves are especially susceptible to damage from an overheated pan.
4. Always use adequate ventilation when cooking.
5. While not necessary, cooking with butter or oil will improve cooking performance and taste of food.
6. Do not use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or sharp cooking utensils; they will scratch the nonstick.

I love this grill/griddle. It is clean and light. I can actually lift it!

Blueberries in pancakes stick and stain. Hard to remove burnt on berries. Great product except for berry staining.

I love the lightweightedness of this, and it’s great to grill twwo thins at once. My problem is the cleaning of it. Sweet marinades seems to burn right on there and I cannot get it off. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Nordic Ware is just good stuff! Nordic Ware is affordable, rugged and such a joy to use!! We just replaced our two-burner griddle after more than 15 years, having subjected the cookware to Scout campouts, school gatherings and a whole lot of use at home. While I was sad to see the old one go, to open that package that delivered the new griddle, seeing it shine and smiling when finding that Made in the USA label, it was just a wonderful experience. I love Nordic Ware!!

Works fine, just used it a few times as I inherited it when I bought the condo. The last time was for frozen Texas toast with garlic and cheese. I had left a few slices sit on the griddle for awhile. After dinner noticed cheesy toast residue was stuck on. I soaked it in the hottest water with a squirt of Dawn for a few hours and the residue came right off.

Used it twice. Once for pancakes and the other to grill chicken breast. Waited for it to cool completely and washed with soapy water. It is warped and almost unusable

I have had this grill/griddle for many, many years and it has held up extremely well. I don’t use it every day, but I do use it frequently as I store it in my top oven and when the top oven is used, the griddle is used. I have followed the use and care instructions – nothing abrasive or metal. I also dry it in the oven after washing to ensure it is completely dry. It is unfortunate that some people who just bought this item are not pleased. I think that forced regulations probably have negatively impacted the manufacturing process. Older is better!

Had my grill for over 5 years and when my daughter moved she took it with her . I have two other grills that I replaced with my nordic that are back in rotation but my Nordic was so much more nicer than these . She loves my ex-grill and reminds me you can’t have it back .I need to get another 2 burner again .

This griddle heats evenly and well. However, it has two major drawbacks. First, it scratches easily, and one cannot use metal spatulas. Second, the lip is not high enough to contain loose food items; the griddle cooks the heck out of pancakes, but good luck not scattering your homefries across your stovetop.

We have purchased 3…one for our mountain home, one for a gift, and the 3rd we use 4 times a week. WE Love our Nordic Ware ProCast Reversible 2-Burner Griddle
