Use & Care

Use:

Care:
1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. Prior to adding food, preheat both sides of pan 1 minute each.
3. With food inside, squeeze handles together to ensure top side of pan is in contact with food.
4. Halfway through cook time, carefully flip pan over to cook opposite side.
5. While not necessary, cooking with butter or oil will improve performance and taste of food.
6. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it may shorten the life of the nonstick coating and dull the exterior of your pan.
7. Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective heating properties. Excessive heat can be damaging to the pan and stovetop.
8. Never allow cookware to boil dry or leave an empty pan on a hot burner unattended. These will both cause damage to the pan’s cooking properties.
9. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.
10. Always use adequate ventilation when cooking.
11. When cooking moist and juicy meat or food, always pour off excess grease and liquid into a bowl (pouring from one of the back corners) before flipping the grill press over. Always use an oven mitt when handling.

    I purchased this for myself, and I love it for grilled cheese sandwiches, and other sandwiches too. I knew my son would like it too, so I bought him one. He really likes it for cooking chicken, and also for quick sandwiches. It’s a handy gadget!

    I love this press – easy to use, versatile. I have wanted a panini press for some time but didn’t want another appliance taking up space. I’ve owned a Nordic Ware Belgian waffler maker for years and love it so figured I’d like the press. I’m very pleased.

    The appliance was easy to use and clean. Made some really nice grill marks.

    This pan is fantastic! Wonder where it has been all my life! I was going to make some pork cutlets and did not want to do the usual frying. I sprinkled them with some seasoning, put them in the grill pan and within 4 minutes or less they were done and so good! Use a little bar be due sauce for dipping if you wish and they are delicious! Love this pan! I just leave it on the stove so it is ready for use.

    At first I thought I would only use it for sandwiches, but tonight I tried a flat iron steak on it and it was wonderful. I’m not a big meat eater but I will be cooking that again. And it does make very good sandwiches too!!!!!

    I have not had the grill for very long, but I love it! Recently I had some pork cutlets and I was thinking I did not want to sauce them in oil, and decided to do the Grill. That is the way to cook pork chops! A little seasoning on them cook 2 minutes a side and they are so good. Add a little bar be due sauce to dip the chops in and it is like bar be que. Thank you for this product!

    I am happy with this purchase. The sandwich press is easy to use and easy to clean. It does not require much storage space. It is nice to have an appliance that doesn’t require electricity. My only quibble is that you need to use thick slices of bread because with thinner slices the press doesn’t close tightly enough to really brown the sandwich.

    I’ve wanted a panini press for awhile but didn’t want another large plug-in single use appliance. Nordic Ware’s Stovetop Sandwich Press is the perfect answer. I just used it to make chicken pesto panini’s that turned out fantastic. It’s easy to use and clean. I will be using this often.

    Just received yesterday and read the instructions on using. Washed,dried and used for grilled chicken breasts for dinner. Came out perfect and looked like they were restaurant ready for plating. Can see us using this often.
