Use & Care

1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended.
2. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray.
3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

    I have made these bunnies at Easter for the last 5 years. Neighbors have begun to expect them. I have made carrot, chocolate carrot, white chocolate. Unfortunately you can’t really wrap the bunnies with wet strips, to ,keep them from rising in the middle, like you can a round cake pan. I tried once and they wouldn’t stay on. If you want all the details of the feet to show up, you almost have to overfill. The person that suggested using a small offset spatula to drag batter into the feet and tail was spot on. If I don’t they rise in the middle and don’t spread out uniformly. It is worth the effort.

    This is an an adorable pan. I made two batches of deep chocolate bunnies and gave them to my neighbors. The bunnies came out of the pan easily and I love that there are two different poses. There’s so much detail to the pan around the outside rim there are little carrots. It’s really special.

    I have tried the bunnies twice with mediocre results. I am lucky to get two or three bunnies that come out of the pan with ears. They are very cute when they come out perfectly.

    Absolutely delighted with the bunny Cakelet pan. I can’t wait to make them for Easter Sunday when we always have a big family gathering!

    These baby bunnies turn out lovely. I make them every Easter. What really would help is if there was some sort of “fill line” so I didn’t over fill the molds.

    I have wanted this pan for a few years. I made carrot cake bunnies for Easter using the recipe on the pan without nuts. The glaze was perfect in showing off the bunny shapes. I love this pan!

    Nice little bunny cakes! I like the way you post instructions, very helpful. Our first pass at this we filled the mold to the top and ended up with a bunny on a boulder! We know better now.

    The bunnies look adorable but I cannot get any kind of batter to completely fill the mold. They often have a huge dome in the middle but don’t fill out the paws. I’ve read that this could be because the oven is too hot and I have lowered the temperature and they still come out domed and pawless. If anyone has suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

    Got this on Friday, March 8th and I used it for the first time on Sunday, March 10th. I got nine bunnies out of the batter and they turned out perfect. I used Baker’s Joy spray and it washed up good. Love it!!!

    Bought this with grandkids in mind. Made the recipe with cocoa added (on website). Took bunnies and icing so each kid could decorate them. Turned out to be a hilarious time! 4 year old ate the icing by the spoonfuls then took a big bite of bunny; 16 year old made many colors of icing for a very colorful bunny, and 14 year old just dove in and ate the bunny (ears first)! What a great day of family fun! Next day made 14 more bunnies and took them to work, iced the ears pink and used mini marshmallows for the tails. Co-workers loved the vanilla bean cakes. Love NORDICWARE!!!

    A major hit with my grandkids! I used the online recipe for the bunnies, adding cocoa (Vitamin CH [chocolate]!) I made frosting, took neon food coloring, and let them decorate their bunny. It was fun to see how each of us decorated the bunnies. I love to bake for others, so I made several more batches of vanilla bean cake mix and took those to work. Love this bunny bakewear! Lastly, Nordic Wear is the BEST!

    I actually use these molds to make bath bombs! I love them and own around 15 pieces!

    I followed the usage directions and the cakes were perfect. My grandchildren loved the baby bunnies.

    We just got the pan and made bunnies for Easter. The pan was excellent. Our rabbits un-molded easily and were very cute for the occasion. Cooking time was not excessively longer. Would recommend highly.

    I got this pan and made chocolate bunnies the first day and carrot cake (of course) the next! They really do come out looking like baby bunnies. My only cautionary tale is to tell you to resist the urge to overfill the pan – really, 3/4 full is almost too much – I’d recommend 2/3 and use an offset spatula to scoop the batter up the sides to fill in the details. (The process of baking will cause the batter to rise enough to fill it completely.) You will absolutely impress people with these!

    I made these baby bunny carrot cakes for an Easter dinner, they turned out wonderful. Decorated around the base with green for grass, white on the tail and pink inside ears, everyone was so impressed.

    Using these for bath bombs, they are absolutely adorable and although I’ve just started making bombs with these bunnies, they are selling out!

    This is one of my very favorite Nordic Ware pans. The bunnies are adorable! I ran a soft plastic spatula around the inside edges of each cakelet before flipping the pan onto a cooling rack, and the bunnies popped out cleanly. I used to think I did not need a bunny cakelet pan, but boy was I wrong! So glad I got this!

    These come out just ok for me- I assume I am not making them correctly. My cakes puff up too high in the middle and do not fill out the rabbit paws all the way, but I have only made them twice. Regardless, this pan is the cutest.

I made bunny cakes, and then started experimenting with bunny jello (had to add extra gelatin) and bunny brownies (definitely overcooked them).
