This easy Grilled Garlic Butter Shrimp recipe is packed with fresh lemon, garlic, butter, and savory spices for bold flavor in every bite. Cooked in the Naturals® Catch of the Day Fish and Seafood Griller, the shrimp grill up perfectly tender and juicy with minimal effort. Finished with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon, it’s a simple and delicious way to enjoy grilled shrimp with garlic butter and lemon.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
For the Marinade
- 3 tbl olive oil
- 2 tbl butter (melted)
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- 4 garlic cloves (minced or grated)
- 1 ts smoked paprika
- 1 ts kosher salt
- 1/2 ts black pepper
- 1/2 ts red pepper flakes
For Serving
- 2 tbs fresh parsley (chopped)
- lemon wedges
Directions
Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. If using charcoal, spread the coals into an even layer for direct heat cooking.
While the grill heats, prepare the marinade. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Add the shrimp and toss until evenly coated. Cover and let marinate for 15 minutes.
Lightly oil the inside of the Naturals® Catch of the Day Fish and Seafood Griller. Place the griller on the preheated grill and allow it to heat for 1–2 minutes. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer inside the griller. Cook for 2–3 minutes, then gently stir or flip the shrimp. Continue cooking for 1–2 minutes more, until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and curled into a loose “C” shape.
Remove from the pan from grill and place on a wooden cutting board. Toss with fresh lemon juice and parsley before serving. Serve immediately.
