Ingredients
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 cup flour
- 1/ 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/ 2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- Topping options: fresh fruit, maple syrup, butter, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and more!
Directions
Beat egg yolks until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and butter, mixing until combined. In separate bowl, mix together flour and salt. Add to egg mixture, alternating with milk, until well combined. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
Preheat Waffler on medium heat for two minutes on each side or preheat the two halves separately. Lightly spray with baking spray or brush with melted butter. Pour about 1 cup of batter into waffler and cook for about 1 minute. Flip waffler and cook for another 2 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully remove with spatula or flip out onto a plate. Add more baking spray and butter if needed and repeat with remaining batter. Serve with your favorite toppings. Makes 3 full sized waffles, 4 squares each.
