The Nordic Ware Basalt 6 Piece Saute Skillet and Lid Set includes 8, 10, and 12 inch formed aluminum skillets with stainless steel lids. The formed aluminum construction promotes efficient, even heating for browning, searing, sauteing, and simmering. Both the skillets and lids are oven safe, allowing you to move covered dishes from stovetop to oven without transferring food to another pan. The basalt colored exteriors and speckled interiors bring the distinctive look of the Basalt Cookware line to everyday meals.

Nonstick Performance

Each skillet features a Swiss made 3 layer ceramic nonstick interior coating that promotes easy food release and supports low oil cooking. The nonstick surfaces are well suited for eggs, vegetables, fish, chicken, and other everyday ingredients. From quick breakfasts to larger family meals, the coating helps make cooking and cleanup more convenient.

Hand wash with warm soapy water. Scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.
We recommend silicone, nylon and wooden utensils for use with this pan to protect the nonstick surface. Metal utensils can damage the nonstick.
Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it will diminish the release properties of the nonstick coating with time
Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective heating properties. Excessive heat can be damaging to the pan and stovetop.
Never allow cookware to boil dry or leave an empty pan on a hot burner unattended. Pan is for stovetop
and oven use.
Always use adequate ventilation when cooking.
While not necessary, cooking with butter or oil will improve performance and taste of food.

These new Basalt ceramic non-stick pans are fantastic! They heat evenly and I only have to use a very small amount of oil or butter when frying. And clean up is a snap. Made right here in the United States. I am so impressed with the pans I bought a set for our daughter for Christmas. Compliments to Nordic Ware on their great products!

Awesome pans! I traded caraway for these and I’m so happy I did. Nothing sticks, easy to clean. Love them!

Really like the skillets. Can cook with very little or no oil without sticking. The lids were a bit thinner than I expected and there was a defect on one. However, customer service worked rapidly to correct matter.
