1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand
wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is
not recommended.
2. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and
dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray
containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular
cooking spray.
3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more
than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners
should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

I used the included recipe to make shortcakes. They turned out great! I made sure to butter and flour the pan well and they popped right out! It’s a little time consuming to wash because of all the crevices, but I got it eventually. High quality, well made pan!

Shortcake Basket pan is such a great kitchen accessory! Used the Nordic recipe for shortcake; cute baskets, and wonderful individual cakes. I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I bought it!

Another wonderful Nordicware pan! Just used this and its accompanying recipe to make strawberry shortcake, and my husband and give them both two thumbs up. I have never had any trouble removing a cake from a Nordicware pan by using melted butter and a brush, and then during with flour (yes, the old-fashioned way! : ).

I ordered this to make the basket cakes for Easter. I used the Butter Shortcake recipe included with the pan and they turned out so cute. I filled with whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries.

The cakes came out without any sticking. I made my favorite pan release with equal parts flour, shortening, and vegetable oil and applied thoroughly with a silicone pastry brush.

Cleaned in hot soapy water and used the Bundt Cleaning Tool to get in the crevices.

Nordic Ware makes wonderful pans!

I love the design of this pan, I used it for little Easter egg baskets and got lots of nice compliments on how sweet they looked. I will definitely be using these for summer shortcakes! The only downside is they are tough to clean, even when cakes come out nicely. I can’t seem to get the grooves perfectly clean.

My daughter in law, niece, and I made these yesterday for Easter. They were cute and came out of the pan without a problem. My grandkids and great nephew thought they were cute. I’m going to make them again to use with strawberries and whipped cream.

be sure to use a pastry brush to get shortening of choice inti all the nooks and crannies.

I have two of these pans and enjoy using them. They are great all year for deserts. I use a vanilla poundcake recipe in them and they come out perfect each time….guests are so impressed.
