This Nordic Ware set includes one Prism Big Sheet Pan made from pure, uncoated natural aluminum and one clear plastic lid made from BPA and Melamine-free plastic. The aluminum pan provides efficient heat conductivity for even baking and roasting, while its rust-resistant construction is suited for everyday use. An encapsulated galvanized steel rim reinforces the pan edges and helps prevent warping under high heat.

Performance

Natural aluminum distributes heat across the large baking surface for consistent browning and cooking. The Prism embossed grid promotes airflow beneath food, supporting crisping and even browning. Use the Big Sheet Pan for cookies, sheet cakes, roasted vegetables, fries, casseroles, and large sheet-pan meals.

The pan and lid should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. The pan is oven safe up to 500 F (260 C) and suitable for broiling. The lid is not oven safe. For easier food release, use parchment paper, a silicone baking mat, or traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum but will not affect baking performance.

USE INSTRUCTIONS

Pan is oven-safe to 500° F (260° C). Safe for broiling. Lid is for storage only, NOT oven safe.
Lid is BPA and Melamine-free.
Use of butter or oil will improve browning and release of foods.
Parchment paper may be used and makes cleanup simple.
Safe for use with nylon, wood, or silicone utensils and scrub brushes.
Metal utensils and cleaning brushes will scratch the surface of your pan and are not recommended; however, scratches do not change the cooking properties or safety of your
pans, which are made to last a lifetime.

CARE FOR YOUR PANS

Natural aluminum pans will develop a patina with time and use; to brighten them up, try scrubbing with lemon juice, vinegar, cream of tartar or baking soda.
Hand wash recommended with warm, soapy water.
Automatic dishwasher use is not advised, as discoloration will occur from detergent reacting with aluminum. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.
