The Nordic Ware Prism Quarter Sheet 2 Pack includes two baking pans made from pure, uncoated natural aluminum. The aluminum construction provides efficient heat conductivity for even baking and roasting. Each pan features an encapsulated galvanized steel rim that reinforces the edges and helps prevent warping during high-heat use. The Prism embossed surface adds structural strength to the compact baking sheets.

Performance

Natural aluminum distributes heat across the baking surface for consistent browning and cooking. The Prism embossed grid promotes airflow beneath food, supporting crisping and even results. Use these quarter sheet pans for cookies, pastries, roasted vegetables, toasted nuts, appetizers, reheating, and smaller sheet-pan meals.

Design

The Prism embossed grid creates channels across the pan surface that encourage airflow around food while adding rigidity to the aluminum. The textured design supports even browning and crisping and can help with food release when the pan is properly prepared. For easier food release from the uncoated aluminum surface, use parchment paper, a silicone baking mat, or traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum but will not affect baking performance.

1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. Dishwasher use is not advised, as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.
3. Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.
4. Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance.

The pans are great. This is my second purchase because I loved the first two so much.
We do not have or use a microwave so leftovers like pizza, quiche, frittata, go onto the pan into the fridge and then are ready for heating the next time we eat.
Also a good size for individual nacho dinners.
Easy to clean, don’t mind washing by hand because rarely is much effort needed to clean

A great pan for cooking everything from squash to sugar cookies. The only drawback might be the sticky/gummy coating that is hard to get off after 2-3 years of regular, weekly use.
