1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended.
2. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray.
3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

I used my nutcracker cakelet pan and was so delighted with the charming gingerbread nutcrackers that came out of the pan, I piped a few details on to them and a sprinkle of powdered sugar and they were enchanting!!! They are now apart of our holiday tradition due to the low effort, huge impact that brings some holiday magic to a busy season!!! Thanks Nordic Ware for a beautiful pan that is fun and easy to bake with and is so pretty it’s on display in my kitchen!

I honestly was a little worried as I’ve never used a fancy mold before and I forgot to spray/butter/flour inside. They came right out! The details were almost perfect, just very minor pinholes on two jacket buttons. I used a cranberry sour cream poundcake recipe scaled down to 1/3. They are a little soft to stand without propping, but look great lying on a plate.

Thanks for the heads up all! Used melted shortening and flour and REALLY coated the pan, cakes fell right out. Added hearts on their helmets for Valentine’s. Super fun

I cannot get the cakes out of the pan. They are a mess.

Couldn’t wait to use this pan ,the detail is beautiful, be sure to prep the pan especially the feet, had a hard time getting it out in one piece. I’m not sure if it was the recipe I used or not, but the details didn’t transfer as well as other pans I have. Going to try the recipe that came with it, which is a lighter in color cake. As always exceptional quality. So cute.
