Use & Care

Loaf Keeper

  1. Before initial use hand wash with warm, soapy water.
  2. Top rack dishwasher safe.
  3. For storage and display use only. Not for oven use.
  4. Let baked goods cool completely before placing on base.
  5. To remove lid, place hands on narrow sides of lid and press inward, allowing lid tabs to be released from their locked position on the base. Lift lid up to remove.
  6. To lock lid in place, place hands on narrow sides of lid and press inward, then slide lid tabs beneath slots on the ends of the base. You may visually confirm that lid tabs are locked in place and can test this by gently picking up the lid from the top.
  7. When slicing cakes on cake keeper base, we recommend using a plastic, silicone or nylon utensil to prevent scratches.
  8. To ensure safe transportation of foods inside, it is recommended that you carry the loaf keeper from the base rather than by the lid.

Fluted Loaf Pan

  1. Hand wash with warm, soapy water.
  2. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it may shorten the life of the nonstick coating on your pan.
  3. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray.
  4. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than ¾ full to avoid overflow.
  5. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.
  6. Pan is oven safe up to 400°F.
