1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. For storage and display use only. Not for oven use.
3. To lock cake keeper, place lid on top of base.
4. Holding firmly, twist lid clockwise until it clicks into locked position.
5. Let baked goods cool completely before placing on cake keeper base.
6. Cutting cake on cake keeper base will result in scratches and is not recommended unless using a plastic knife blade.

I love my loaf keeper—it’s the perfect size for the Nordicware pumpkin Bundt pan loaves and for generic loaf pans as well.
I agree with the other commenters that opening it is something you have to explain to people but they catch on quick. Also agree a handle on top would conceivably be a bonus for people who like to take their baked goods somewhere. But for me I don’t so but a handle would make it harder to store. All in all one of my favorite Nordicware purchases. Very handy for keeping my pumpkin breads and banana breads fresh. And it looks pretty too.

It’s definitely not tall enough for my loaf cakes. My swirled loaves are minimum 5 1/2” tall.

The only negative is how to open it. I have to do it or instrct others as it’s not apparent. I’m in charge of the gf desserts at church & Bible study. This is great for transportation and presentation. The tray is attractive. It keeps things well. My banana bread was ooed at and quickly decimated.

I like the color and style of the laf keeper. I do wish the handles were more durable. I can picture a stronger person breaking them because they didn’t know how to open it. I did have holiday guests scratching their heads trying to open. I showed everyone and it was good. I like the capacity. It can fit whole quick bread .

So far I’ve only used this for sourdough bread and cookies. It keeps them well! It looks pretty on my countertop, is super easy to clean, and made in USA. All things to love!

Very happy with the loaf carrier. It’s a little awkward getting the lid on and off which is why I gave it 4 stars. However, the size is perfect. It keeps the cut loaves moist. I have never seen anything like this keeper and it was definitely what I needed. They do suggest not to use a metal knife so not to damage the bottom. I cut a plastic cutting mat into the size and shape of the bottom. The mat worked perfectly. I do recommend this product.

This loaf keeper is the perfect size and shape for my breads & cakes. Well made too!

Made in the USA!! Simple sleek design, not overly bulky. Washed up in the dishwasher top rack just fine. I have not used it for a bread yet, but it should fit anything from the smaller or larger loaf pans I have. It seems to be sized to fit the wide loafs (I think that is Nordic Ware’s 1.5 loaf pan) or the smaller 1 pound with some extra room. The keeper seals well and has a simple design. It reminds me of my mom’s Tuperware cake keeper which is not bulky but just big enough for what you need. I wish more things were made just the right size and not gigantic! I can’t wait to use this to store my banana bread on the counter instead of the foil crumb situation I normally have. Good motivation to bake something now!

This loaf keeper is perfect! Cranberry orange bread stayed fresh and moist for a week. I did put it in fridge at day 3! Love it ! So much better than using one use wraps!

Works very well. Easy to use and saves using plastic wrap that may stick to the surface. Cleans up easily. Appreciate that it made in the USA.

I make a lot of loaf cakes and this loaf cake keeper is perfect to transport it, or keep it fresh instead of using a large cake carrier. I may even buy another one.

This loaf keeper is very useful as I make a quick bread every week. Opening the lid takes a little to get used to, but after a while, you don’t even think about it. Note that the “handle” on the lid is just a decorative sculpturing of the lid – you cannot actually use it to carry the container around. And while it’s a good size, the picture showing a loaf with a bowl of butter on the side is not a full-size loaf. Still, it fits a loaf well, with wiggle room to spare (just not a bowl of butter).

I kept it; too tired of returns. Difficult, awkward with no handles on top. A waste of money. I like NordicWare but not this

Haven’t seen anything like this before. Works perfect for loaf size breads., Easy to clean and store.
Since non metal cutting utensils are recommended, maybe NordicWare can provide a link or make such an item especially serrated knife for breads and cakes that won’t harm base of keepers.

This loaf pan keeper was quickly shipped and well-packaged. It’s a really simple design and easy to use. While it’s a little larger than I typically need for quick bread loaves, it travels well and keeps them moist, even after cut.

I use this for pumpkin and banana breads to take to potlucks. This helps to keep the breads fresh and moist. I have received many compliments and inquiries for purchase.

Seems like whenever I bake a loaf cake, I struggle with how to keep it fresh. Plastic wrap clings to the cake and makes a gooey mess, but if you don’t cover it, the cake dries out and is inedible. This cake cover keeps the baked good fresh and moist. Bottom tray is sturdy enough to serve and then store. High dome keeps baked goods from getting gooey. Just what was needed!

Love this! It is the perfect size for a loaf of my pumpkin bread with a little extra room on the sides. It’s easy to open and close and very light weight. I do wish the handle on the top was taller—not for carrying, but just for lifting it off the base. It’s not very tall and hard to get a good grip on it.

This is ideal for my small pound cakes and the lemon-shaped loaf cake! Love the red trim!

I have my cake and muffins there that keeps very nicely and moist I love it
