Hand wash with warm soapy water.
Prior to adding food, heat both halves of press over grill or campfire for 1-2 minutes. While not required, brushing inside of press with cooking oil will improve browning and food release.
Add food to pan and close both halves together. Cook over heat source, using care to avoid direct flame contact which will keep food from burning. Turn the press several times during cooking to ensure even browning on both sides.
We strongly recommend wearing an oven mitt or protective glove when using this product to avoid burns. Use caution opening a hot press and handle to remove food.
After product has FULLY COOLED (15-20 minutes in a cool location away from any heat source), wash in warm soapy water. You may use abrasive cleaning products and will not harm the cooking properties of the item.
