Made from cast aluminum, the Nordic Ware Cardamom 7 by 11 Inch Rectangular Baker distributes heat evenly across the baking surface. Its cast aluminum construction supports even browning for everyday baking and cooking.

Nonstick Performance

A double layer ceramic nonstick coating helps baked goods and other recipes release easily from the pan. The smooth nonstick interior helps simplify cleanup after baking or roasting. For cakes and brownies, a light coating of butter or cooking oil helps prepare the surface for baking.

Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or nonstick safe brush. Use silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils to help protect the nonstick coating.

Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or brush that is safe for nonstick coating.
Abrasive pads and cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces as they will diminish the nonstick release.
Extended soaking is not recommended or necessary; for stubborn baked-on food, soak in hot soapy water for 15 minutes, then rinse.
Ceramic nonstick performs best with a light coating of butter or cooking oil. Food will brown and crisp and clean up becomes simpler.
If baking brownies or a sheet cake, we recommend buttering & flouring the pan as you would do with any other recipe.
We recommend silicone, nylon, and wooden utensils for use with this pan to protect the nonstick surface. Metal utensils can damage the nonstick coating.
