    What a super, simply elegant little answer to a need. The stepped base means that it will fit many different cook pots and also gently spread heat. I like this piece of ware a lot.

    This piece is so versatile and easily stored!!

    I absolutely love using this double boiler! It’s built so that it can fit pretty much any pot I own, and fit snuggly. It does revolve a lot when you’re stirring and occasionally gets so hot that I have to use an oven mitt to hold it. But it’s a metal bowl, what do you expect? It’s durable and has worked for many years, and I’ve never seen a scratch or scrape on it. Although it is true that you cannot set it down on a surface on its own, I hardly ever have to. Generally when melting chocolate, I am immediately pouring the product into another container or pouring it onto the counter to temper. So it doesn’t cause a problem at all. I love it and have recommended it to several people 😀

    This is an excellent product. It is lightweight so melts chocolates quickly and is deep enough for a regular size custard. Has indentations making it fit well over just about any size pan. Clean up is just a swish with a sponge.
