1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. Dishwasher use is not advised, as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.
3. Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.
4. Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance.
5. Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit or corrode the pan after prolonged use.

I’ve had this set for a few years now. The set is delightful to cook and bake with. The unmeltable lid works well as a baking sheet! It would be so handy if this set came in a 9×9 or 8×8 size.

I love this pan. The lid is perfect for covering casseroles while baking and storing afterwards. I love making a 9×13 cake in this pan then just popping the lid on for storage. But even more impressive is the customer service. They really want the customer to be satisfied. Great communication and responsiveness.

I had no idea this thing I inherited many years ago was made by Nordic Ware. This lid is more than a cover for after you’ve baked in the pan. When you grill on a propane/natural gas grill or in an oven, put in chopped potatoes, carrots, onions (thick chopped onions) along with salt, pepper, and margarine. (not butter as it doesn’t work right) Put the lid on the pan. Cook it until it’s done. (steaming and cooking at the same time) I don’t for know how long, but it always came out right with margarine. (basically fool proof) I think you’ll be amazed with the results. Stupid easy, yet so yummy.

I’m happy to have a cake pan with a metal lid, a good product though the lid is a little tricky to get on and off.

We got a rectangular one and a square on as a set as a wedding gift. That will be 47 years ago next month. We have made cakes and brownies along with Roasts and a warming pan with the lid on at 250 degrees and it works well. It’s one of those go to pans.

I’ve had this pan for more years than I can remember. Just a great versatile pan for all my baking needs and love the cover for goodies to go.

I needed a new aluminum baking pan. I don’t like the dark nonstick kind and this pan is a nice, lightweight aluminum. A bonus is that it has an aluminum lid that snaps on. I’ve baked brownies in it and they came out so much better than in my old pan. The pan cleans up easily with soap and water. Highly recommend!

I’ve used this pan a couple of times and already am pleased with the even baking and the solid construction. I’m sure it will get a lot of use in the years to come. I’m glad I upgraded to NordicWare products.

This classic pan is great as its so light weight and everything I’ve made in it cooks evenly.

I have used this pan several times now to make bread pudding, rice crispy bars and hot dishes. I just love it!

I absolutely love this baking pan and the metal cover. I’ve made a chocolate sheet cake and the cake baked perfectly. The metal cover was an excellent idea and perfect for storing in the fridge or traveling with the pan. Washing the pan was very easy (I did used Baker’s spray), just some soap and water.

I had been looking for a broiler-safe 9 x 13 pan deeper than 2 inches for some time. I use it for making manicotti, and this pan is excellent for this purpose. The manicotti does not overflow this pan; it is excellent for this purpose.
