Use & Care

Use:

  1. Place strips of bacon on the bacon tray, ensuring they do not overlap.
  2. Place in microwave and cook on high for one minute per piece of bacon. Cook at additional 30 second intervals until bacon is completely cooked. Cooking times can vary due to microwave used.

Care:

  1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
  2. Dishwasher use is not recommended as it may discolor or warp the product.

    So awesome! Grew up with one of these in our kitchen. Makes perfect, crisp bacon every time. Every time. Easily drain off bacon grease into your container, not in your sink. Cleans up easily too. My current compact rack has lasted years. Such a brilliant product.

    This compact bacon cooker is far too small for most bacon. Cooks great if you only want 2 pieces cut in half! Got another one with a cover and helps keep microwave clean.

    I had ahard time finding them

    Have had a small bacon rack for many years. Use it very often. Got tired of checking to see if it needed cleaned for next use, so I just bought a 2nd one. Love it. Very handy.

    Care instructions many years ago was dishwasher safe top shelf. now says not recommended for dishwasher. Which is correct?

    We’ve used the Compact Bacon Rack for at least four years with great success. Drippings are left in the tray leaving the food hot, tasty, and not soggy. Mostly used for the microwave reheating of sausages, chicken, hamburgers, and leftover meals. The only problem we’ve had was that we didn’t have enough of them. So I bought three more.

    Have been using the compact bacon rack for a few years now. Cooks the bacon perfect in the microwave. Easy to clean also. Ordered more so I had extras in case one was in the dishwasher. Thank you Nordic Ware!

    I really love this bacon rack. It works well. I would however like the manufacturer to entertain making it larger. It just seems the bacon doesn’t quite fit when you put it on before cooking.

    This splatter cover works great over smaller sized plates and bowls and I use it in the microwave every day. I am very happy with this product.

    this is my second one. the first was over 30 years old and was dropped numerous times and chipped pieces out of 2 corners, and leaks fat. exceptional product

    Pans arrived in good time. We use them at church for communion with a magnetic cup for gluten free crackers.?They have lasted well.

    Cooks evenly with little clean up

    We got a new microwave and the larger Nordic Ware bacon cooker doesn’t fit. So, what to do? Buy a smaller one so we can continue to use a great product.
