Use & Care

1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended.
2. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray.
3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

    This is a great pan. I’ve already used it three times. The definition on the trains is excellent and the cakes pop out of the mold very easily. (I butter and flour the mold first.)

    Bought this beautiful cake pan as a gift, so I have not baked in it. Pan arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Nordic Ware quality is the best! I gifted it to a recipient family who was very excited to see it and will definitely use it as part of their Christmas tradition hereafter. It was the perfect gift!

    I used the recipe for gingerbread duets and it will fill this 3 times. The train definition isn’t as detailed as I wish. I truly wish the skinnier train was available instead of the squatter looking one. But the pan is of impeccable quality.

    I’m obsessed with your products! I used this mold for my son’s birthday. It’s awesome! The cakes bake evenly and pop out so easily with just cooking spray- plus, it’s super simple to clean! I have wasted so much money on other molds that left me digging quasi raw and burned batter out of impossible to clean crevasses! Nordicware is my absolute go-to favorite! (We celebrated at a train museum – 5 groups of strangers stopped to ask about the cake – 3 of them ordered the pans on the spot!) Can’t wait to bake again!

    It’s an amazing cake pan, the train has great detail. Is Made in USA very strong and sturdy

    This is the best pan! It made the cutest train and it came out so easily! I did have to scrub it out with a sponge bc of the little crevices of the detail, but totally worth it and it didn’t take long. Love this pan and the rest of my nordic ware bake ware.

    This cake pan is too much fun!
    I filled up the two open cars with candy and chocolate coins. The grandkids loved it!

    It took 4 tries to get an acceptable cake. Pan is a 4 cup capacity but recipe is 5 cup. Do not distribute all of batter into the sections. Use 1/4 cup with 1 tablespoon in case you can’t get enough up the sides. When you get the batter up the sides to cover the wheels, it will look only half full. This should be demonstrated on Nordic’s website as a video. My end product didn’t look as smooth as their picture. Maybe a pound cake recipe would be better but I didn’t test that.

    I love this pan. Easy to use. Beautiful bake and easy release. It is larger than expected. Nice surprise!

    The cakes turn our super cute and my kids have a great time decorating them.
