Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Optional toppings: fruit, nuts, syrup, whipped cream
Directions
Preheat Silver Dollar Pancake Pan over medium heat and season with butter or oil. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, sugar, baking powder, spices and salt; set aside. Beat egg until light and fluffy. Add egg, buttermilk and butter to dry mixture; mix until blended. Spoon batter into cavities, leaving one empty. Cook until pancakes bubble and are starting to brown on edges. Turn each pancake over into empty well and continue cooking. Top with your favorite toppings such as apples, bananas, nuts, whipped cream, butter, syrup, etc.
