Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/ 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 3 1/ 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

Directions

To Prepare Iron for Use: Place iron directly over medium heat on top of stove. Alternately heat both sides of the iron until water sprinkled inside sizzles. Grease inside of plates when making the first few cookies.

Beat eggs; gradually add sugar and beat until smooth. Add butter and vanilla. Gradually add flour and baking powder. Blend thoroughly. Drop 1 tsp of dough into center of the iron. Bake on medium for 1-2 minutes, turning once, until golden brown. Remove from iron. If desired, roll cookie around cone immediatley after removing from iron. Dust with powder sugar.
