Bacon Apple Pupcakes

• 2 Tbsp cooked finely chopped bacon bits
• 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour or oat flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup beef or chicken stock
• 1/4 cup applesauce

Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare Puppy Love Treat Pan with baking spray or butter. Mix together first 6 ingredients until a heavy dough is formed. Press dough firmly into each well, filling nearly to the top. Bake for 18-22 minutes until each bone is golden brown and fairly firm to the touch. Cool treats in pan for 1 minute before carefully removing and place on a cooling rack. Thoroughly clean pan and repeat all steps with remaining dough. If dough seems dry, add a small amount of stock to add more moisture. Makes about 40 treats.
