1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. Do not cook with oil or butter during popping phase, as damage to popper may result. You may add it after your corn has popped. Never exceed 1/4 cup kernels.
3. Do not use with disposable power concentrating cups, which will damage your popper.
4. Use oven mitts when handling — popper will be very hot.
5. Top rack dishwasher safe

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place 1/4 cup popcorn kernels into popper bowl and place lid on top. Do not add oil or butter prior to popping.
2. Cook on high for 3- 3 1/2 minutes. Cooking time will vary depending on the microwave. Cooking is complete when the rate of the popping slows down to 1-2 seconds between popping. Using oven mitts, remove popper and immediately remove lid. Use proper precaution as the bowl will be hot. Allow to cool before repeated use.
3. If desired, add butter or seasonings at this time. You can place lid back on the bowl and shake to distribute butter and seasonings.

This microwave popcorn popping bowl is the only NordicWare product I’ve ever been disappointed in. I followed the instructions to the letter and it just never worked in my microwave. I tried different power settings, times, everything, no dice. It leaves about half the corn kernels unpopped.
I’m giving it two stars because even though it totally failed as a
Popcorn maker, you could use the bowl for something else like cereal if you’re willing to eat out of plastic.

this thing is great. not only does it pop popcorn, it can be used to put most anything in it as a bowl (chips, salad, cereal, etc). the lid is so snug I don’t an ant could get in (outdoor picnic). easy to clean. have had mine for 3 years and love it. Nordicware , please do not stop making it. will buy again if this one needs replacing .

Excellent little popper for homemade popcorn, easy to use and clean, makes a great bowl each time.

I weigh 1.6 oz. (20 serving to a 2 lb. bag) of generic popcorn on a kitchen scale and cook for ~2 minutes. 99% of the kernels pop and being lazy, I never wash the popper; neither affect this popper’s performance.

This works wonderful for 2 people, and it is easier to clean than an air popper.

I just bought mine today.. I love it. First time using it today. My mother and I are popcorn lovers and we sit and watch tv eating popcorn. This was great. Easy to use too. I put in 1/4 cup of popcorn evenly in the bottom of the bowl, replaced the lid and put it on 3 minutes. I listened for the popcorn when it slowed down and it didn’t burn. I melted some butter and added a little salt, replaced the lid and shook the popcorn. Time to eat. Clean up was easy just a lid and bowl. We loved it. Thank you so much. Love the product.

Love this microwave popper. Use it when the grandkids come over and so easy to use and clean.

I have had my popper for >5 years now – with almost daily use. It is excellent – holds up well, healthy because it doesn’t need oil. Easy to wash in dishwasher or by hand. Does not retain any smells.

I thought this would be a better option for popping corn but no matter how I adjust my time the popcorn burns. What am I doing wrong? Other people seem to have mastered the use without burning. I think the bowl is made well, but that doesn’t matter if I can’t use it properly.

Thank You for providing those of us who can’t or won’t eat packaged micro wave popcorn. The ease of just measuring out a 1/4 cup of popcorn, microwaving for around 3 min. Makes this a quick snack. I also like adding green chili seasoning melted butter to the popcorn (after popping) and replacing the lid for a quick shake.
Easy to use, clean, and store!

Excellent customer service, received one as a gift and it may have been damaged in shipment but Nordic Ware replaced it without any issue and I have been enjoying it ever since. Very easy to use and clean – makes the perfect portion of popcorn for one! Definitely recommend!

I’ve used many microwave poppers in the past and none of which have worked as well as this one. I’ve used it every day since I bought it.

This microwave popcorn popper is so easy to use. Only needs 1/4 cup unpopped popcorn, put the cover on, microwave, and in less than 3 minutes delicious tasting fresh popcorn. The popper is simple and very well made and sturdy.

I wanted a fast treat for one, weight watchers friendly, without the chemicals and added oils from bagged microwaved popcorn, or having to have another appliance or air popper in the cupboard or on the counter, this bowl fits easily in the cupboard. It’s economical to buy popcorn kernels, it’s safe for kids or seniors, it’s healthy and calorie smart, it’s sold by a local business that has their head quarters down the street and we try to buy local at Christmas and this was one of my Christmas gifts this year, love supporting local business, especially if I get a snack out of it! 😉

I washed the pop corn popper and then dried it and put 1/4 a cup of popcorn and put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. The popcorn was burned along with the bottom bowl melting.

I stumbled onto to this while looking for an air popper. Started weight watchers and air popped popcorn is 0 points. THIS Product is amazing. I pop the corn and then while dumping in another bowl I lightly spray with my Coconut Oil cooking spray and salt it. My husband is now hooked on it too. I might have to go for the bigger popper. LOL

My grandma got me this as a dorm-warming gift for my freshman year of college last year. It was a bit too big for the microwave in my dorm, but once I came home for the pandemic, I was making popcorn literally every day with this. It’s super easy to use and I haven’t burnt a single batch of corn! My only complaints are that it doesn’t pop every single kernel (but I doubt it’s possible to do that in a microwave popper without burning the rest of the kernels) and it would make it easier to use if I could put butter in before popping, as that would distribute the butter more evenly. All in all, this is a fantastic item and I can’t wait to bring it back to my dorm this fall, this time with a microwave the popper will fit in!

Love tis item. I had a bigger one for years and always made more than I wanted. This popper pops the perfect amount for one. If I want more, I just make another bowl.

I just purchased the popper when I saw it on my quest to get a new egg poacher. I’ve used it a couple of times and find it perfect so far. Time will tell how it works over time. If it’s anything like my first egg poacher that lasted years I’ll be a happy camper.

It works very well. Leaves few unpopped kernels. Sturdy.

I have found using 1/4 cu gives better results. I love that I can easily and quickly make popcorn without the use of any oil.
