Use & Care

1. For microwave use only. Not for stovetop or oven use.
2. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash Multi-Boiler and lid in warm, soapy water.
3. Use the same precautions with the Multi-Boiler as you would around other kitchen products that produce steam or boiling water. Use care when removing food from
the microwave.
4. Use of oven mitts is recommended for all meals made in your Multi-Boiler, and when draining excess liquid.
5. Cooking times may vary from standard instructions based on your microwave’s wattage. Recipes provided are meant as a general guideline for timing. Adjust up or down as needed.
6. Your Multi-Boiler lid is meant to prevent spatters during cooking and also to drain foods such as vegetables or pasta. Turn lid handle side down and place over pot. Align 1 tab of the lid with the Multi-Boiler’s handle. Grasp firmly using oven mitts, and drain hot liquid away from your body into a sink. Use normal precautions you’d use with other boiling liquids.
7. Never attempt to boil a large portion of food in your Multi-Boiler. It should never be filled more than 1/2 full with liquid, or 2/3 full when reheating an already cooked food or sauce
8. Dark colored foods such as tomato sauce, chili, soup or barbeque sauce may stain the inside of your Multi-Boiler but will not diminish the functionality of the product

    I ordered several of these, because they looked like they were sturdier than the other clear plastic made in the USA containers I use in the microwave. These are wonderful! Sturdy, I like the red color, I also like the fact that when I heat something up, these do not melt and I have to throw them away after two or three uses. I also like the steam lid!

    5*. I use the multi boiler everyday for oatmeal. It is easy to use and clean.

    The inside of bowl is peeling! Why? Can I get a replacement?

    Use everyday for oatmeal. Have to be careful not to let it overflow, even with lid. Easier to clean than other bowls.

    Perfect for microw wave pasta and oatmeal. Haven’t tried rice yet. I am still working on amount of water per amount of oatmeal.

I also use it in my RV and I’m sure it’s great to take traveling. It’s small and lightweight enough to pack in your suitcase and take to places where all you have access to is a microwave. Excellent product. Highly recommended.

    I’ve had this multi-purpose pot for only a little more than two weeks, but it’s my second one by Nordic Ware. The first one is also multi-purpose (for me anyway), but of a somewhat different design. They both work really well in the microwave oven for me. I don’t usually need to clean up a boil over mess in the microwave, as I frequently do with other microwave oven pots. It’s made of a more durable plastic construction than some of the other microwave oven cookware I have had, and I expect that I will be able to use it for some time to come, given my experience with other Nordic Ware products, as well as this one, thus far. Time will tell.

    I’ve used this over the years and it’s very good for heating or cooking in the microwave. I’ve used Nordic ware products for many years and have never encountered any problem.

    I’ve used this for making oatmeal, instant mashed potatoes, & omelettes. Heats food very quickly, evenly, & thoroughly. Easy to clean. I have a small 800 watt microwave. Fits wonderfully. Very happy with the purchase.
