The Nordic Ware Cardamom 1.5 Qt. Saucepan features a lightweight spun aluminum body that heats quickly and evenly for everyday stovetop cooking. Its compact capacity is well suited for warming sauces, reheating leftovers, preparing side dishes, and simmering small portions.

Nonstick Performance

The double-layer ceramic nonstick interior promotes easy food release and simplifies cleanup. Cook with less butter or oil when desired, and use silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils to help protect the coating from scratches.

Design and Function

A distinctive green exterior, off-white cooking surface, and natural beechwood handle bring Scandinavian-inspired design to this practical saucepan. The handle provides a comfortable grip and adds a natural accent to the cookware. For gas ranges, use low to medium heat and keep flames from extending up the sides of the pan.

USE INSTRUCTIONS:
• Ceramic nonstick performs best with a light coating of butter or cooking oil. Food will brown and crisp and cleanup becomes simpler.
• We recommend silicone, nylon and wooden utensils for use with this pan to protect the nonstick surface. Metal utensils can damage the nonstick.
• Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective heating properties. Excessive heat is damaging to the pan and stove top.
• Never allow cookware to boil dry or leave an empty pan on a hot burner unattended. Pan is for stove top use only.
• Cardamom’s natural wood handles add to its beauty and uniqueness, and require a little extra care. For gas ranges, ensure a low to medium heat setting is used, as excessive heat will damage wooden handles. Flame should never be visible up the sides of the pan.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
• Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or brush that’s safe for nonstick.
• Abrasive pads and cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces as they will diminish the nonstick release.
• Refrain from soaking or immersing wooden handle of pan in water. Clean handle by wiping with a damp dish rag if needed.
• This pan is not dishwasher safe due to its wooden handle which will absorb water and cause cracking or splitting.
