Use & Care
1. For storage, transport & reheating of previously cooked food.
2. Allow contents to fully cool before securing lid for transport/storage. If vacuum forms, making lid difficult to open, equalize pressure by using the blunt end of a utensil to gently pry open edge of lid.
3. Leak resistant lid
Use:
1. Remove lid from mug prior to heating in microwave. NEVER heat with lid on top of mug.
2. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring food prior to cooking for additional time. CAUTION: Food heated above 140°F can cause burns if consumed or spilled and will make mug uncomfortably hot.
3. To avoid overheating, contents should not be allowed to boil.
4. IF FOOD HAS HIGH FAT OR SUGAR CONTENT, REDUCE COOKING TIME.
5. SAFETY: Use mitts when handling and removing mug from microwave as mug and contents will be very hot.
Cleaning and Care:
1. Before initial use, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Silicone gasket may be removed for thorough cleaning and pressed back into place.
2. Not conventional oven safe. Do not use under broiler or on stove.
3. Dishwasher use not recommended, as it may discolor or warp product.
4. Tomato-based foods may stain mug.
