Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/ 2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon salt-free garlic & herb seasoning
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/ 4 cup soft goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1/ 4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/ 8 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions

Directions

Heat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease pan. In small bowl, stir together all crust ingredients. Press about 2 Tbsp mixture into bottom and up sides of each cavity. Bake shells 5 minutes. In medium bowl, stir together cottage cheese, goat cheese, whipping cream, egg, salt and pepper until smooth and creamy. Fold in green onion. Spoon about 1½ Tbsp of mixture into prepared tartlette shells. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until light golden brown on top and filling is just set. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan; serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 12 Tartlettes.
