Use & Care

  1. Hand wash with warm soapy water. Scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.
  2. We recommend silicone, nylon, and wooden utensils for use with this pan to protect the nonstick surface. Metal utensils can damage the nonstick.
  3. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it will diminish the release properties of the nonstick coating with time.
  4. Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective heating properties. Excessive heat can be damaging to the pan and stovetop.
  5. Never allow cookware to boil dry or leave an empty pan on a hot burner unattended.
  6. Always use adequate ventilation when cooking.
  7. While not necessary, cooking with butter or oil will improve the performance and taste of food.
  8. Safe to use on gas, electric and induction stovetops.
  9. Oven safe to 350˚F.

    I LOVE my Verde skillets! I purchased the 8″, 10″ and 12″ skillets. Clean up is a breeze!!!

    I like this pan very much. I haven’t bought any new pans in decades dare I say so maybe this coating isn’t new to many of you but to me it is out of this world. I make grilled cheese sandwiches in it; French toast; and after cooking the pan looks brand new and you wouldn’t even think you need to wash it. In fact it is so slick I have a hard time getting under the sandwich to flip it. I also sauté scallops in it and due to the oil, butter and flour it leaves a liquid mess behind but some paper towels make it look brand new again, and of course soap and water after the wipe.
    One negative. The handle feels cheap to me and it bugs me as a result. It hasn’t bent or broke, but just don’t care for its quality.
