Use & Care
1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand
wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is
not recommended.
2. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and
dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray
containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular
cooking spray.
3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more
than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners
should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

Ability: BeginnerI ordered this to make the basket cakes for Easter. I used the Butter Shortcake recipe included with the pan and they turned out so cute. I filled with whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. The cakes came out without any sticking. I made my favorite pan release with equal parts flour, shortening, and vegetable oil and applied thoroughly with a silicone pastry brush. Cleaned in hot soapy water and used the Bundt Cleaning Tool to get in the crevices. Nordic Ware makes wonderful pans!

Ability: ProfessionalI love the design of this pan, I used it for little Easter egg baskets and got lots of nice compliments on how sweet they looked. I will definitely be using these for summer shortcakes! The only downside is they are tough to clean, even when cakes come out nicely. I can't seem to get the grooves perfectly clean.
