1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it may shorten the life of the nonstick coating on your pan.
3. Before each use, brush with solid vegetable shortening and dust with flour or cocoa, or use baking spray with flour in it.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.
5. For perfectly round cake pops, place top half of pan onto bottom half and secure by sliding tabs into locked position. Trim edges of baked cake pops, if needed, prior to decorating.

They were a lot of fun! I received the pan as a gift and set out to use it right away. The fudgy cake pop recipe that was included worked very well--they were more like brownies than cake, and when they didn't come out of the pan properly you could squeeze them back into ball form. The Jiffy Mix cake I tried in this pan was total failure.... Take care to grease AND flour each compartment for best results! Also, allowing them to cool in the pan for longer than the 5 suggested minutes was helpful. They take forever, but the kids loved them.
