    CARE INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Not recommended for dishwasher use.

    2. Do not use on the stovetop or in the oven; for microwave use only.

    3. Base, cook plate, and lid will become very hot during use. Always use oven mitts when transferring a hot pan from the microwave or when removing lid from cooked food, as hot steam will be present.

    4. Cook food in 30-45 second increments until desired doneness is achieved. Flipping foods halfway through cooktime will result in more even browning and crispness.

    5. Let QuickCrisp™ cool fully before washing and storing.

    6. Proper cleaning of your QuickCrisp after every use is imperative, as left-over oil or food residue can result in smoke and may damage your pan. To thoroughly wash, separate into three components (base, cook plate, and lid) and hand wash with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry each part.

    7. This product is BPA and melamine–free. Important: Read all instructions prior to use.

    USE INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Every microwave is different due to varying wattages and capacity. Therefore, the preheating time and cooking time can vary. For the first few uses of your QuickCrisp, you will need to determine the amount of time your microwave requires to preheat the pan to cooking temperature. This will be between 2 to 3 minutes total. Do not exceed 3 minutes preheat time.

    2. We recommend preheating on full power (100%) but note that power settings do vary by recipe. Refer to our recipe booklet for recommended power settings for certain foods.

    3. When preheating QuickCrisp, always remove the lid.

    4. When the QuickCrisp is preheated, you can test the temperature by sprinkling a drop or two of water onto the preheated plate. The water should immediately sizzle and evaporate, meaning the plate is ready to cook on.

    5. QuickCrisp may also be used without its lid. The lid prevents spattering and is desirable when cooking foods that are juicy, such as meat, or vegetables, which are best when moist. For foods where crispness is desired, such as tater tots, pizza or grilled cheese, we recommend using QuickCrisp™ without its lid, allowing steam to dissipate.

    6. Overheating of your food can cause burning and create smoke, and will damage your pan. For this reason, it is imperative that your QuickCrisp never be preheated for more than 3 minutes and cook times should be carefully monitored per the recipe for each food. If accidentally overheated, ventilate the room and leave the area until the smoke dissipates.

    7. If you plan to make the same meal twice, back to back with the QuickCrisp, it will need to be preheated again between uses, for 1-2 minutes without food. Do not exceed three back-to-back uses at a time to allow your microwave to cool down and safely operate.

    RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS (note, preheat and cooking times may vary depending on microwave used and intensity):

    Grilled Cheese Sandwich:

    1. Preheat Time: 2-3 minutes on high

    2. Butter 2 slices of bread and add 2 slices of cheese. Cook at 50% power for 2 minutes.

    3. Flip sandwich and cook for additional 2 minutes.

    Chicken Breast:

    1. Preheat Time: 2-3 minutes on high

    2. Lightly spray both sides of chicken with canola oil spray and season with garlic salt and pepper.

    3. Place chicken on cook plate and cover with lid, heat at 50% power for 2 minutes. Flip chicken, place cover and heat an additional 2 minutes. Cook to 165°F (75°C)

    Deep Dish Pizza for One:

    1. Preheat Time: 2-3 minutes on high

    2. Place frozen pizza on cook plate. Heat at 70% power for 4 minutes.

    Fries or Tator Tots:

    1. Preheat Time: 2-3 minutes on high

    2. Spread out food on cook plate. Cook 1.5 minutes on high.

    3. Flip food and cook 1 more minute on high.

    Eggs- Over Easy:

    1. Preheat Time: 2-3 minutes on high

    2. Brush a little butter or cooking oil onto the cook plate and crack an egg onto hot pan.

    3. Allow egg to cook to desired doneness and use a spatula to flip egg over. No additional heating time in microwave is required if QuickCrisp has been preheated properly.

    Eggs Sunny-Side-Up:

    1. Preheat Time: 2-3 minutes on high

    2. Brush a little butter or cooking oil onto the cook plate and crack an egg onto hot pan.

    3. Pierce yolk gently with a fork, add a ¼ tsp of water to surface of plate, then cover with lid. Return to microwave for 15 second increments until desired level of doneness is achieved.
