1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. Dishwasher use is not recommended, as it may shorten the life of the nonstick coating and may dull the exterior of your pan.
3. Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective heating properties. Excessive heat can be damaging to the pan and stovetop.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.
5. Never allow cookware to boil dry or leave an empty pan on a hot burner unattended. These will both cause damage to the pan’s cooking properties.
6. While not necessary, cooking with butter or oil will improve performance and taste of food.

Have had 2 of these pans. Have NEVER used metal utensils and ALWAYS washed by hand and still non stick peels off. Like the size and depth but pan too expensive to keep replacing every couple years.

A great pan for cooking large quantities and keeping it all in the pan and not on my stove! Love that its made in the USA. Be careful, that extra handy handle gets hot!

I wanted to buy a made-in-USA product. I needed to replace a name-brand “green” saute pan (which was difficult to clean and maintain). The 10″ saute pan was not available at the time, so I purchased the 12″ skillet. It was probably a better decision, but I may still buy the 10″ saute pan as well. I have not used the skillet without the “Heat Tamer” that Nordicware sells – only due to the reviews. I love the skillet, it cooks evenly, and the clean-up is so easy.
I will be replacing all of my cookware and bakeware with Nordicware.

Perfect for cooking a wide range of foods. The high sides keep sauces and food from falling out of the pan, unlike most rounded skillets. I use 5-6 days a week for the past 2+ years, cleans easy and in amazing shape. I have bought 4 more as gifts for people and they love it too!!

This is a really big pan, which is what we wanted. Because it is larger than the largest burner on our electric range, we had a similar experience to another reviewer–the pan rose up in the center when heated. But we bought a Nordic Ware heat diffuser for the burner, and that seems to have corrected the situation. We love the pan!

I searched for a large quality skillet to handle large tasks. After stumbling on this one I knew I must have it.It gets heavy use and definitely our go to skillet. After more than a year it’s still in great shape and looking to buy more like it.

I used this brand new skillet for the first time this morning while cooking bacon. Unfortunately, the many reviews I had read turned out to be true for my skillet as well. While I was cooking, the center of the skillet became higher than the rest of the skillet, moving my bacon grease to the edges – with nothing for the center bacon to fry in! The nonstick feature is effective, and I like the pourspouts on the sides. But I was really hoping this skillet would work better.

Bought this new pan because of design, & non stick surface. So far I love it! It is replacing my go to favorite skillet…. This one has a larger cooking surface than my other 12″ skillet. I just hope it holds up with my almost daily use.

It has a wonderful heavy weight, but not as heavy as an iron skillet, with a handle that does not get hot. Love the “helper” handle when lifting it. Even my husband loves it for cooking eggs on Sunday mornings.
