Help with sticking issues
Recommend To A Friend: Yes
Product Quality: Fair
Frequency Used: 1-2 times total
Length of Ownership: 1 year or less
I might recommend this pan to a friend because it is cute, but my only attempt at using it resulted in horrific sticking. I had to use a toothpick to get all the crevices clean. I sprayed it with Pam before baking - HELP!
Hello Barb, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your troubles with your cake sticking in this pan. Here are a few tips that will help improve your experience and have a clean release next time you bake with this pan: 1. When preparing the pan, make sure to use baking spray that CONTAINS flour. We advise not to use regular Pam, but Pam does make a baking spray that contains flour. Preparing the pan with butter and dusting with flour/cocoa powder is another good method. 2. Use a brush to even spread spray into all the details of the pan. This is especially important for detailed pans like this one. 3. When cake is done baking in this pan, let it cool for 8-10 minutes in the pan before inverting onto a cooling rack.
