1. Before initial use, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
2. For microwave use only.
3. Top rack dishwasher safe.
4. Use of sharp metal utensils on this product may scratch surface appearance but will not affect performance.
5. IMPORTANT NOTE: Recommended for microwave reheating only. Cooking foods with high fat content may overheat and damage the plate. DO NOT cook foods on plates in microwave packaging that aides in browning or crisping such as Hot Pockets®, packaged popcorn, and pizza. Pot Pies are also not recommended.

I love the plates I ordered. They are durable and unbreakable. They are perfect for everyday use. Only thing is you cannot use knives to slice or cut something in the plate, they leave knife marks on the plates.

We got our picnic plates and bowls a few weeks ago and we love them! Don’t have to worry about them breaking and you can put them in the dishwasher!! Haven’t used the rice cooker yet, but we will. We have a steamer bowl that was given to us when we got married that we are still using. It is 40 years old and still working great! Would recommend these to everyone. I’d give it more than 5 stars if they had them.

We have nice Crate and Barrel porcelain dishes but we also have two young kids, so we want to avoid any chance they’ll break them. We picked up a four-pack of these Nordicware plates about six months ago, and they were so popular with everyone that we picked up another eight a couple weeks ago. The only thing they’re not ideal for is cutting up food on them, otherwise they’re great. They are light, microwavable, probably impossible to break, and sturdy at the same time. I would definitely recommend buying these.

Last November we had a big shaker in Anchorage (Mag 7.0) that cleared the shelves in my office kitchen. Nearly all of my ceramic dishes, glass-ware, and the like shattered. My (then) 8 year old Nordic Ware came thru in flying (literally) colors. I recently pondered replacing some of the broken ceramics and was gratified to see Nordic Ware still makes quality products here in the USA.
My plates and bowls are 9 years old now and they show the wear of knives, forks, spoons, and general average use. They have survived the bottom rack of the dishwasher, but I don’t use the heated dry cycle, so beware to follow their instructions. While I would not pull these out for a fancy dinner, they serve extremely well in my small office environment.
And they’re still made in the USA!!!

We’ve had these plates for over a month and have used them daily and they are holding up nicely in the microwave and dishwasher. They’ve sustained rough use by my boys. No complaints at all, but note that these plates do not match the the bowl+salad+dinner plate set. They are a bit thinner and slightly different white.

We bought these plates to replace our normal dishes because my partner is autistic and doesn’t like the sound of ceramic hitting each other. This has been a wonderful alternative and holds up well in both the microwave and dishwasher while still being completely safe to use! There is nothing else like it out there right now that doesn’t come in rainbow colors, so we were very happy to find NordicWare.

We like these plates because they are dishwasher, microwave and fridge safe, but also BPA free. We have used them with children and for extended periods of time during a transition move. Kept us from unpacking / repacking lots of boxes and great for sharing a plate of cookies with neighbors without fear of loss or breakage.

These plates are perfect when you need a plate that won’t break yet still looks nice. We have used similar products from NordicWare for years and ordered them this time for a rehearsal dinner that required plates that wouldn’t break.
