Use & Care
1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended.
2. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray.
3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

Ability: BeginnerThis cake pan is too much fun! I filled up the two open cars with candy and chocolate coins. The grandkids loved it! Two of their favorite things; cake and trains!

Ability: ExperiencedIt took 4 tries to get an acceptable cake. Pan is a 4 cup capacity but recipe is 5 cup. Do not distribute all of batter into the sections. Use 1/4 cup with 1 tablespoon in case you can’t get enough up the sides. When you get the batter up the sides to cover the wheels, it will look only half full. This should be demonstrated on Nordic’s website as a video. My end product didn’t look as smooth as their picture. Maybe a pound cake recipe would be better but I didn’t test that.
