vegetable steamer, March 31, 2008
We purchased this product a few months ago and love using it for steaming vegetables. As no timing directions were included, we 'played' with it for carrots, asparagus, brocoli and small potatoes. When full (a single layer) 6-8 minutes, depending on the vegetable, produces wonderfully steamed, yet not overcooked, veggies. We need another one so I may use it when cooking for groups. I never use my stovetop steamer anymore! Kansas City

The vegetables remain crunchy, and it is very easy to clean.
Caution: It gets VERY hot, so use gloves when removing it from the oven.
