Dinner Plates, December 28, 2010
I just got the 10 inch plates like these, and they are the best invention in the world. I got them as a Christmas present and was still holding them in my hand when one kid said goodbye as another kid came in. The one who came in was hungry, and I ended up using 4 plates for her. I didn't even get a chance to put the plates down. They are so nice. The edges are great for food not sliding off the plate when walking from the microwave to the table, has an edge for your knife after buttering rolls, fast in and out of the kitchen, goes from microwave to table to freezer or oven to warm up, are attractive and have an attractive color with speckles, and are easy to wash by hand or put in the dishwasher. I wanted microwave dishes to cut down on extra work in the kitchen and to keep my porcelain dishes safe from the microwave.
