COLORS BAKEWARE USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with hot soapy water.
  2. Before each use, brush with solid vegetable shortening and dust with flour or spray using Baker's Joy or Pam for Baking spray with flour in it.
  3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than ¾ full to avoid overflow.
  4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on non-stick surfaces.

  2. Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective heating pattern on cooking surface. Excessive heat can be damaging to the pan and stovetop.

OVEN ESSENTIALS USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash in hot, soapy water, rinse and pat dry. Before each cooking use, season the non-stick surface with unsalted vegetable shortening.
  2. For gas or electric stovetop use, always use moderate heat. Overheating will result in the loss of non-stick performance, as well as discoloration of the pan.
  3. For oven use, cookware may be used in gas or electric ovens up to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Keep at least 6" away from the broiler element.
  4. To maintain the interior surface, nylon, wood, or plastic utensils are recommended to prevent scratching of the non-stick surface. Light scratches will not interfere with the non-stick quality but will affect the appearance.
  5. To clean, thoroughly hand wash pan in hot, soapy water. Never use harsh abrasives or steel wool. For tough stains, soak and use a scouring pad safe for non-stick surfaces.
